Make A Joint Stool From A Tree

Make a Joint Stool from a Tree, by Jennie Alexander and Peter Follansbee is now available from the Lost Art Press.

Preorder before the February 27 press date and get free shipping.

Why am I promoting this?

Do I get a free copy? No. Do I get a handmade joint stool by Peter Follansbee? No. Do I get homemade chocolate chip cookies for life? No.

I am promoting this for a purely selfish reason, however. The Lost Art Press prints the kinds of books that I want to read and I want them to keep printing them.

I'm already getting my sleeping bag out so I can wait by the mailbox. Ooh-la-la.

Dang... Do you mean to tell that the whole homemade cookie thing is an urban legend?

...ordering anyway

I agree - just the sort of thing I'm looking for, but sadly, LAP won't ship outside the US for some reason.

I may wait for a leather bound edition, I think those usually come with a cookie subscription don't they?

You said it, Jamie!

TJIC, I ordered mine right before I posted this. Had to make sure they reserved a copy for me before I spread the word. haha

John, I'm so glad that this book is being published. I think that Peter and Jennie have been working on it for a couple decades.

Frank, I'm keeping my fingers crossed just in case. ; )

Howard, I don't know anything about their shipping policies, but it is a shame if you're not able to get a copy of this book. LAP has a number of other books in the works that sound just as excellent as this one.

Joe, wait, what? I placed my order too soon!
