Extreme Homes

These two homes in my neighborhood are within a half mile of one another.

But it's the smaller of the two that has a view of the mighty Susquehanna River.

Lovely triangle house complete with giant pumpkin. Also a lovely view of the mighty Susquehanna River.

I wonder how many people live in each house.

The little guy's my favorite, too. As far as I know, one person rents it. It actually drops down one story in the back. The photo shows just the tip of the iceberg. I heard it was built by a woodworker in the 50's and I'm hoping to get a look inside someday.

and the river is an excellent spot for fishing for bullhead catfish...

I'm always amazed that anyone would live in a house like the second. I like a house that hugs you. I think I'd be happy with the first.

Reminds me a little of Bilbo Baggins house.

I'm looking forward to the open house at PFW on Saturday.

It is a like a Bilbo Baggins house. :o)
I'm heading to the PFW on Friday. Wish I could go on Saturday instead.

I wanted to go down to PFW today, but my wife and I had our twin grandkids over because Sam was sick and had a doctor's appointment. I would've liked to have met you Kari. I plan to spend most of the day at the open house tomorrow. Really looking forward to it.

I hope you can get a tour of the little house some day and post some pictures of the interior.

Joe, sorry to have missed meeting you (but grandkids come first!). :o)

You're in for a fun time tomorrow--Mario & Alan have done a terrific job with the open house. Have a great time!
