Eric, or at least an actual rip saw, given the title of the article. I noticed the grip, too after awhile. The thing I noticed first was the saw nib and handle and I thought,"Wow, where'd they get such a nice saw?" Then I read the article. Sometime after that, I noticed the model. haha
Liz, you'd definitely need heels like that if you ever find yourself parked in front of Adam Cherubini's bench at Pennsbury Manor. The benchtop is up to my elbows, and I'm 5' 5".
Priceless stuff! My eyes are still burning. I'll have to go through Mr. Schwartz's workbench book and see if I can find some more pictures of those lovely legs.
While I'm not usually sporting heels in the shop, my typical footwear is usually a pair of Chaco flip flops and shorts =) But never a pair of shorts that short! Although there would be little chance of getting that clothing caught in any machinery =)
Jerm, I wore flip flops one time (and one time only) in my shop. I was working with chisels, and—you guessed it—one rolled off my bench, business side down and missed my foot by 1/4". I decided that was my warning shot, so I've never done it again. Now short-shorts in the shop—I'm all for it! haha
I've been known to wear high heels in the shop...and I get a lot of cautionary messages when that shows up in pictures. Right now, I have on sandals. I _wish_ I could find time to get in the shop and temp fate. megan
