I got to see the museum last year. The best tool collection I've ever seen. The lathes where my favorite.

FC, I would love to see his entire collection. I read (in the article you mentioned) where he was planning to move his museum to one of three locations. One option was Harrisburg, PA (1.5 miles from me). I wrote and begged--BEGGED!-- him to choose H'burg. I even wrote our Mayor and asked him to write John, which he did. I don't know if he's still planning to move his museum or not, though.

Having now found the Sindelar Museum web site, I will have to leave the mundane world for a while. I'll be back eventually, once I have ingested the breadth and scope of this collection.

I don't know about you, but afterwards I was moved to clean all of my tools and then honed two plane irons and it's not even New Years.
